Privacy Policy

My Home Fiber LLC (MyHomeFiber) · Effective September 12, 2026

What MyHomeFiber collects when you ask about Fidium Fiber, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal information.

Who this covers

My Home Fiber LLC ("MyHomeFiber," "we," "us"), doing business as MyHomeFiber, is an independent sales organization authorized by Fidium Fiber. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use myhomefiber.com or any form we host, when you call, text or email us, when we call, text or email you, and when our team talks with you at your door — and what we do with it.

Your Fidium account is Fidium's. Once you become a Fidium customer, your account, bills, network usage and customer proprietary network information (CPNI) are handled under Fidium's customer privacy notice. This policy covers MyHomeFiber's own sales and follow-up activity.

The short version: we collect what we need to check availability, answer your request, place an order with Fidium if you want one, and follow up. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising. You can stop marketing contact at any time.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, bank details or passwords. Orders are placed in Fidium's systems; any payment or credit information you provide for an order is collected by Fidium under its policies.

The Site does not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and honor browser opt-out signals.

How we use it

  • To answer your request, check Fidium Fiber availability at your address, and explain the plans that fit.
  • To schedule and confirm a callback, remind you before it, and try again if a scheduled call did not connect.
  • To place an order with Fidium on your behalf when you ask us to, and to coordinate installation.
  • To follow up after a conversation at your door or a visit you asked us to make.
  • To re-contact former customers and people with an unfinished Fidium order about returning or finishing, where the law allows and consistent with the consent we hold.
  • With your marketing consent, to tell you about Fidium Fiber internet, home phone, speed upgrades and referral opportunities.
  • For quality and training (recorded calls), to keep our records accurate, to prove consent and honor opt-outs, and to secure the Site and our systems.
  • To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

Calls, texts and AI-assisted calls

Calls with MyHomeFiber may be monitored or recorded for quality and training. With your express written consent, some outbound calls are placed by an AI-assisted voice assistant that identifies itself as an AI assistant for MyHomeFiber in its first sentence. It confirms details, answers general questions and books a callback with a person; it does not quote pricing. You can end the call or ask not to be called again at any time, and it will honor that immediately. Texts follow our Text Message Terms; what each consent box means is spelled out in our Contact Consent disclosure.

Who we share it with

  • Fidium. To check availability, place and track your order, coordinate installation and report the outcome of a referral. Fidium uses it under its own privacy notice.
  • Service providers working for us. Companies that host our website and database, deliver our emails, send and receive our text messages, place and transcribe our calls, verify email addresses and phone types, and scrub numbers against do-not-call lists. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, to protect our rights or the safety of any person, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
  • Business changes. If MyHomeFiber is sold, merged or reorganized, your information may transfer to the successor, who must honor this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We do not rent or trade lists.

Your choices

  • Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop texts from us; reply HELP for help.
  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Calls and visits: tell the person on the phone or at your door, email info@myhomefiber.com, or use Your Privacy Choices. We add you to our internal do-not-contact list, which we keep permanently.

Opt-outs are processed immediately for automated channels and no later than 10 business days across all channels. After you opt out of marketing we may still send messages you asked for or need — for example a confirmation of a callback you booked, a reminder for it, or a reply to a question you sent us.

How long we keep it

We keep prospect and customer records while there is an open request, an order in progress, or an ongoing relationship, and for up to three years after the last contact so we can honor follow-up requests and answer questions. We keep consent, opt-out and do-not-contact records for as long as needed to prove compliance (at least five years, and permanently for do-not-contact requests). Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to two years. Website logs are kept for a short period for security. We may keep information longer when the law requires it or a dispute is pending, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, hosted infrastructure with security monitoring, and least-privilege access for our team and vendors. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

The Site and our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you and receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising or profiling, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising, and do not collect sensitive personal information, the opt-out rights are already satisfied — but we will record and honor your request anyway.

How to exercise them: use Your Privacy Choices, email info@myhomefiber.com. Tell us the phone number or email address the request is about. We may ask you to confirm it (for example by replying from that email or to a text) before we release or delete information. An authorized agent may submit a request for you if they provide your written permission; we may still confirm the request with you directly. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need up to 45 more. If we deny a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we answer appeals within 45 days and, if the appeal is denied, will tell you how to contact your state attorney general or privacy regulator.

Notice at collection (California). The categories we collect, the purposes and the retention periods are described in the sections above. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out of sale/sharing for the browser on which it is set.

Do Not Track. Because the Site does not track you across other sites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to change; we treat GPC signals as described above.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice on the Site or by email before it takes effect.
